Our client, a well-established and respected law firm in Caterham, Surrey, is seeking a qualified Litigation Solicitor to join their team.

The successful candidate will join a supportive, professional team and manage a varied civil litigation caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from instruction to conclusion.
• Provide pragmatic, commercially aware legal advice.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings where required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Support the growth and development of the litigation team.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in litigation.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and court processes.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently and independently.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive and collaborative, with a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
