Job Title: Machine Operator (Trainee Laser Operator)

Location: Bilston

Pay Rates: £14.00 - £14.75

We're looking for a hands-on machine operator from a steel background who is ready to learn something new and build a long-term career. You will be trained to set and operate both flatbed and tube lasers, working alongside experienced staff in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Once fully trained, pay rates will increase significantly, making this a strong opportunity to upskill and improve your earnings.

• Monday - Thursday: 13:30 - 22:00
• Friday: 13:30 - 19:00

This role is suited to someone who prefers later starts and afternoon working.

• Learning to set and operate flatbed and tube laser machines
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Operating an overhead crane
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Supporting production and developing technical skills

• Strong experience within the steel or manufacturing industry
• Previous machine operating experience
• Willingness to learn and progress into a setter role
• Good attention to detail and work ethic
