CNC Setter Operator

They take pride in their enviable track record in on-time delivery, customer service, and quality solutions.  Our client are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join their business in Herford.

Key Skills required of the CNC Setter Operator:

• Must ahve a minimum of 5 years; experience of working in machining environment.
• Apprentice trained or engineering college educated.
• Ability to set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Be able to read technical drawings.
• Experience of working to tight tolerances
• Ability to inspect own work.
• Ability to priorities tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives.
• Using lifting equipment to load & un-load components.
• Ensure quality of work is accurate, thorough and neat.
• Ability to produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and willingness to learn.

The successful CNC Setter Operator will have experience of setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines. Ideally have a good understanding of Fanuc controlled systems.  In return my client are offering an market rate salary, free onsite parking, and other benefits to be discussed.
