The Role - Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced environment with strong investment in engineering and technology.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance EngineerĀ 

  • Electrical fault finding on production and plant equipment
  • Working with Siemens PLCs – fault finding and basic modifications
  • Maintenance and repair of control panels, circuits, drives, and inverters
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
  • Working with motors, sensors, relays, and automation systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For - MaintenanceĀ EngineerĀ 

  • Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong PLC experience (Siemens preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven fault-finding ability
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
