Description

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs conducted.
• Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and production loss.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

• Mechanical Bias with experience in Electrical
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, such as NVQ, HND, or equivalent.
• Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards in engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.

Job Offer

• Up to £49,500 DOE
• Monday to Thursday (8am-4:45pm) and Friday (6am-12:30pm)
