  • Creating CNC manufacturing methods using CAD/CAM software
  • Supporting tooling selection, fixture design, and manufacturing documentation
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and supporting Design for Manufacture (DfM) improvements
  • Driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP activities
  • Working directly with production teams to resolve technical manufacturing challenges
What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally have:
  • Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience within precision machining
  • Experience supporting CNC machining environments
  • Exposure to sliding head machining technologies (Star machines are advantageous)
  • CAD/CAM experience using software such as Siemens NX, Partmaker, FeatureCAM, or Vericut
  • Good understanding of GD&T and tight-tolerance manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical engineering mindset
Experience within aerospace, defence, medical, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing sectors would be highly beneficial.

Why Join?
  • Advanced aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Modern machining technologies and precision engineering capability
  • Genuine engineering involvement across production and NPI activities
  • Strong long-term career progression opportunities
  • Collaborative and technically strong engineering team
  • Opportunity to work on complex aerospace manufacturing programmes
Package includes:
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits
  • 33 days of annual leave
  • Private medical insurance
  • Pension and life assurance
  • Employee share scheme
  • EV charging and onsite gym facilities
  • Free onsite parking
If you’re a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys precision machining, process optimisation, and solving real manufacturing challenges, we’d be keen to hear from you.
