Mechanical Building Services Technician

The working hours are Monday – Friday, 07:30-16:00 or 09:30-18:00 on a rotational basis (Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks).
This role has responsibility for the reliable and compliant operation of the estate wide services and equipment. The successful candidate will plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment causing minimal disruption.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician within Building Services to continuing developing their Engineering career.
Your Background:
- Engineering qualification – Mechanical Bias is preferred
- Experience in domestic and low temperature hot water systems (LTHW)
- Experience with Air Handling and Chilled Water Systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Happy to be on call (1 in 6), includes attending site Sat/Sun and bank holidays to blow down boilers and carry out plant room checks
