MTrec Recruitment are representing our bespoke engineering client in their search for a Mechanical Fitter. The role will be working on a temporary to permanent basis, and will have the opportunity to be made permanent, depending on performance.

The Job you Will do:

• You will work as part of a larger team performing essential fitting duties
• Fitting Bearings onto shafts 
• Fitting Pulleys and other hoisting equipment
• Ensuring all bolts are tightened to the correct torque settings
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the correct standards
• Working in a time effective and safety conscious manner.

About you:

• Previous experience in a mechanical fitter’s role is essential
• You will have worked within engineering/ heavy manufacturing or oil and gas for example
• You will be available for an immediate start
• It is essential you can work the hours required for the role.
• A driving license is not essential but highly desirable.
