Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Rate:
- £21.00 per hour (Ltd / Umbrella)
- £15.50 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 07:45am – 15:45pm
Contract Length: Initial 3‑month contract
The Role of a Mechanical Fitter
We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a well‑established manufacturing business based in East Grinstead.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly work
- Bolting components together
- Working from drawings and instructions
- General fitting and build tasks within a manufacturing environment
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Comfortable with hands‑on mechanical assembly
- Experience bolting components and frameworks together
- Able to work reliably as part of a production team
Desirable Skills
- Basic electrical knowledge, such as simple wiring or connections
