Mechanical Fitter – Fulltime

Very good understanding of Mechanical Fitting duties in relation to construction site plant including 36o's ADT's, Telehandlers ad other large plant.

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years (HS2)

PAYE basis

Pay rate: £20.88 per hour

Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including 8 bank holidays)

Must Have:

• CSCS - Blue Skilled, Gold Skilled/Advanced Craft

About the role:

• Putting together machine parts and installing equipment in various industrial settings.
• Conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure machinery operates smoothly.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to understand assembly processes.
• Working with other team members to optimize operations and ensure safety standards are met. 
• Inspecting and diagnosing operational problems in mechanical systems, including boilers and piping systems.
• These responsibilities highlight the critical role of a Mechanical Fitter in maintaining efficient industrial operations.

Overtime:
Monday – Friday - Time and a third after 10 hours                                                                                                                 
Nights – Time and a third
Sat & Sunday and night all hours –Time and a half
