Mechanical Fitters – Chichester 
£26 per hour | 16 Weeks Minimum | Immediate Starts Available

We are currently recruiting up to 10 Mechanical Fitters for a project based in Chichester.

This is a long-term contract (minimum 16 weeks) with urgent starts available, offering consistent hours and competitive pay.

Job Description

Carry out general mechanical fitting duties to support the installation of a new paint shop, including assembling and installing equipment, aligning and securing mechanical components, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm (10 hours paid)

• Saturday: 7:00am – Finish (10 hours paid)

Pay

• £26.00 per hour

• Plenty of hours available

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• Previous mechanical fitting experience

• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

Desirable (Not Essential)

• IPAF / MEWP licence

• FLT (Forklift) licence
