Mechanical Project Manager

Salter Grange is partnering with a well-established, highly respected M&E specialist subcontractor to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

Our client has a proven track record of delivering premium residential, commercial, and urban regeneration schemes across London. Due to a highly secure, long-term project pipeline, they are seeking a multi-site Project Manager to take full ownership of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional currently running a single site who wants to step up into a multi-site leadership role, or someone looking to move away from rigid corporate structures into an agile business where their impact is directly recognized.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Drive the delivery of mechanical packages (HVAC, piping, public health) across 2–3 live construction schemes in London.
• Act as the primary technical and delivery lead face-to-face with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors on site.
• Partner with the internal commercial team to manage variations, progress claims, and ensure project profitability.
• Oversee Site Managers, Foremen, and sub-contract labor to maintain strict health, safety, and installation standards.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

• A solid track record as an M&E Project Manager, specifically working for a Mechanical Subcontractor.

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, OR a history of running single major mechanical packages (£3m+) and ready for the next career step.
• Valid SMSTS and CSCS Black/Gold Card.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
