MFL TEACHER (FRENCH & SPANISH)

As a full-time MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality language education and inspiring pupils to develop confidence and fluency in modern foreign languages.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic achievement and cultural awareness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching French and Spanish to pupils across relevant key stages
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contributing to the wider school community and departmental activities where appropriate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching French and Spanish within UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Modern Foreign Languages
- Excellent classroom management skills
- The ability to motivate and inspire learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
