Mobile Electrical Engineer – Birmingham

£38,000 – £43,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider covering commercial sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties. You will be expected to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all electrical systems remain compliant and operational.

Key Duties

  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems
  • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
  • Distribution board maintenance and inspections
  • Electrical installations and minor works
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Completing maintenance reports and paperwork

Requirements

  • Proven commercial maintenance experience
  • 18th Edition qualification (essential)
  • AM2 qualification (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of emergency lighting and distribution boards
  • Excellent fault-finding abilities
  • Full UK Driving Licence
