We are working on behalf of a reputable main dealer group in Corby to recruit a skilled MOT Technician.

This is an excellent MOT Technician opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking to advance their career within a well-established, family-run dealership. The MOT Technician will join a busy, professional workshop environment that values staff development, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Duties of the MOT Technician:
  • Perform vehicle servicing and routine maintenance adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct MOT testing (MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential)
  • Carry out PDI inspections and light mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, and general maintenance
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and within manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service throughout all tasks as a MOT Technician
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Repairs or equivalent
  • Valid MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience working within a dealership or independent garage environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and workmanship
