We are seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a reputable dealership located in Braintree, Essex. Our client, a well-established vehicle service centre, is looking to recruit a skilled MOT Technician to join their busy team. Benefits of an MOT Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary of £28,500
  • OTE of up to £40,000 per year, with achievable bonus incentives
  • Additional bonuses: £1,500 loyalty bonus and £6,000 annual bonus paid monthly
  • Average monthly bonus around £400, equating to approximately £12,300 annually
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturdays on a rota basis, approximately every other week, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm

Duties of an MOT Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Perform vehicle MOT Tests in line with DVSA regulations
  • Maintain high levels of quality control and customer satisfaction on all work
  • Document all repairs and services accurately
  • Ensure compliance with industry and manufacturer technical updates
  • Efficiently manage workload to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members as required
Requirements of an MOT Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Motor Trade Technician
  • Valid MOT Tester accreditation is essential
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer service
