MOT Tester

Our client, a well-established volume main dealer in Exeter, is looking to appoint a professional and experienced MOT Tester. Duties of the MOT Tester role:

• Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards, adhering to company quality protocols
• Perform general vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
• Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicles
• Complete accurate paperwork and maintain detailed records of all work carried out
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment
• Support colleagues with technical advice and contribute to team productivity

Requirements for the MOT Tester role:

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent
• Valid MOT licence
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a dealership or workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality service
• Organised with good record-keeping abilities and a focus on health and safety standards
