A growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production across a busy automated site.
This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with a strong 50/50 electrical and mechanical background, ideally from a manufacturing environment with experience working on conveyors, CNC machinery, motors, sensors and PLC controlled equipment.
The Role
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site
- Fault finding on CNC machines and PLC controlled conveyors
- Working on motors, relays, sensors, belts, bearings and wiring
- Supporting machinery reliability and reducing downtime
- Encouraging and improving planned preventative maintenance activities
- Assisting with continuous improvement projects
- Maintaining engineering standards within the toolroom and maintenance stores
- Supporting stock control of engineering spares and consumables
Requirements
- Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience within manufacturing, production, glass, FMCG or industrial environments
- Comfortable working on PLC controlled machinery
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Proactive approach to maintenance and housekeeping
