Nursery Room Leader – £29,785.60 per year & 75% Childcare Discount

 

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm)

Location: The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Preschool, Ryland Road, Kentish Town (short walk from Kentish Town West, Kentish Town & Chalk Farm Stations)

At Just Imagine Day Nursery Vange, we’re looking for a confident, caring and motivated Third in Charge to join our warm, supportive team.

The Role:

 

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will create a nurturing, inspiring environment where children can learn, play and thrive every day. You will:

·       Lead your room with confidence, positivity and professionalism

·       Plan fun, stimulating activities aligned with the EYFS

·       Support children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development

·       Guide and support staff in delivering high-quality learning journals

·       Embed an effective key person approach

·       Maintain accurate records using internal systems

·       Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of every child

·       Build strong, trusted relationships with families

 

What We're Looking For:

You’re passionate, reliable and ready to take the next step in your Early Years career. You bring warmth, leadership and a genuine commitment to giving children the best possible start in life.

Essential:

·       Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification

·       1+ year of experience in an Early Years setting

·       Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding

·       Confident written and spoken English

Desirable:

·       6+ months’ experience in a senior or room leader role

·       Understanding of Ofsted requirements for Good/Outstanding
