An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Nurture Teacher to join our specialist independent school in Flitwick as we open a brand-new nurture room to complement our two existing nurture provisions. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in expanding therapeutic, child-centred support for pupils who thrive in smaller, relationship-based environments.

We are seeking a Nurture Teacher who is committed to meeting the needs of vulnerable and neurodivergent learners, helping them build confidence, resilience, and essential learning skills. Whether you are primary-trained, SEN-experienced, or an ECT eager to start your career in a nurturing specialist setting, we welcome your application.

What We're Looking For

• A caring, adaptable Nurture Teacher with a strong understanding of emotional regulation, attachment-informed practice, and trauma-responsive approaches.
• Primary-trained or SEN-qualified teachers, including ECTs or experienced teachers looking to pivot into a specialist role.
• Someone who can create a safe, structured, and relationship-focused environment tailored to individual needs.
• A collaborative practitioner who values working closely with therapists, support staff, and leadership.
• A creative and reflective teacher who can deliver cross-curricular learning in a flexible way.
