Job Description:

We are looking for Occupational Health Advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational health assessments and provide professional advice on employee fitness for work.
  • Deliver health surveillance and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Provide case management support for long-term and short-term absence cases.
  • Support compliance with health and safety legislation and organisational policies.
  • Liaise with HR teams, managers, GPs, and other healthcare professionals when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with Occupational Health experience.
  • Qualification or specialist training in Occupational Health.
  • Experience managing occupational health casework and sickness absence referrals.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health, wellbeing, and employment-related health matters.
  • Ability to produce clear occupational health reports and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Skill & Qualification:

  • Experience in health surveillance and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of employment law and disability-related workplace adjustments.
  • Experience advising managers within large organisations.
