Job Description:
We are looking for Occupational Health Advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational health assessments and provide professional advice on employee fitness for work.
- Deliver health surveillance and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide case management support for long-term and short-term absence cases.
- Support compliance with health and safety legislation and organisational policies.
- Liaise with HR teams, managers, GPs, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with Occupational Health experience.
- Qualification or specialist training in Occupational Health.
- Experience managing occupational health casework and sickness absence referrals.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health, wellbeing, and employment-related health matters.
- Ability to produce clear occupational health reports and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Skill & Qualification:
- Experience in health surveillance and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of employment law and disability-related workplace adjustments.
- Experience advising managers within large organisations.
