Ofsted Registered Manager

Overview:
We are currently recruiting  an  Ofsted Registered Manager on behalf of a reputable and growing care provider. This is a permanent leadership role focused on maintaining high standards within established children’s residential homes.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Managers or strong Deputy Managers ready to step up into a leadership role within a stable and well-supported environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the residential home in line with Ofsted regulations
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, care delivery, and compliance
• Manage and develop staff teams, including rotas, supervision, and performance
• Oversee care planning, audits, incident management, and quality assurance
• Maintain inspection readiness and support regulatory requirements
• Build effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care
• Previous Registered Manager experience OR Deputy Manager ready to progress
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Leadership & Management (Level 5 desirable/support provided)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and safeguarding skills

Essential Criteria:

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Stable employment history within children’s residential settings
• Ability to work on-site and take full operational responsibility
