Connect Appointments is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to join an established logistics and shipping business based in Aberdeen.

Our client operates a busy transport and logistics operation across Scotland, the UK and mainland Europe, offering a fast-paced operational environment with a genuine focus on staff development and wellbeing.

As an Operations Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Contributing to the planning of full loads and groupage loads including inter-depot movements
  • Ensuring all transport and dispatch paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Processing orders and supporting end-to-end shipment activity
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Handling customer queries professionally and efficiently
  • Communicating with colleagues across the operations function and liaising with other depots to support load planning

To be considered as an Operations Coordinator, you will need:

  • A reliable, organised approach to work with a strong customer focus
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working with computer systems
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure as part of a busy team
  • Previous experience in transport or logistics is advantageous but not essential
