Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Furniture Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team based in M17. This is a hands-on role involving the preparation and packing of furniture for shipping and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Wrapping and packing furniture items securely for transport
- Preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring items are protected and labelled correctly
- Heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred (but not essential)
- Ability to carry out heavy lifting on a daily basis
- Good attention to detail when packing items
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
