Part Time Communications Administrator

Our client, a high-profile membership body and union in the education sector are looking for a proactive and well-organised Communications Administrator to support a busy and fast-paced team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of communications activity, helping to deliver campaigns, engage stakeholders, and support day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the communications team
  • Manage shared inboxes, respond to enquiries, and coordinate communications
  • Take, prepare, and circulate meeting notes and documents
  • Support the delivery of communications and campaign activity
  • Assist with budget processes, including invoices, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Help coordinate suppliers and support procurement processes
  • Organise rotas, meetings, events, and general logistics
  • Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners

About You

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital tools
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Professional, approachable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
