Our client, a well-established automotive business in Inverness, is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join their team. Duties of a Parts Advisor:
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer sales queries, orders, and complaints
  • Escalating complex customer issues to management when necessary
  • Adhering strictly to company policies and procedures in all customer interactions
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and company policies through regular training sessions
  • Accurately understanding and clarifying customer requests and issues
  • Upselling relevant products and services to meet sales targets
  • Ensuring detailed and accurate customer records in the CRM system
  • Managing parts look-up and order pre-pick processes
  • Traveling to client sites to support account management and develop key relationships as a Parts Advisor
Requirements of a Parts Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Parts Advisor or in a sales role within the automotive or related industries
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred due to the travel involved
  • Ambition to develop a long-term career within the motor trade
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and industry best practices is advantageous but not essential for individuals from other sales backgrounds
