Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for a Parts Assistant on behalf of a well-established and highly respected business based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and customer-focused team, playing a key role in supporting customers with parts and component requirements across a diverse range of machinery and equipment. Combining customer service, sales, stock management, and administration, this position is ideally suited to an individual with experience within parts, automotive, plant, agricultural, engineering, or other technical sectors.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring parts are sourced, processed, and supplied accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, online platforms, and in person.

Identify customer requirements and accurately source the correct parts and components.

Process orders, collections, deliveries, and dispatches in a timely manner.

Proactively promote products and identify opportunities to maximise sales.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

Receive, check, organise, and manage incoming stock deliveries.

Pick, pack, and store parts in accordance with company procedures.

Support stock control activities, invoicing, and general administrative duties.

Assist with online sales enquiries and customer follow-up activity where required.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive service.
About You

Previous experience within a parts sales, automotive, agricultural, plant, engineering, or similar technical environment.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
