Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Payroll Delivery Coordinator to support the payroll function by providing system administration support and covering the day-to-day administrative activities of the Central Payroll Team.

This role focuses on ensuring salaried payroll requests are processed accurately and efficiently, while supporting a positive employee experience across the business. Working as part of a centralised payroll team, the Payroll Delivery Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, accuracy and compliance.

The position involves managing a range of rotating payroll administration tasks, offering variety and the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of payroll operations. Responsibilities are rotated across the team every two months, requiring flexibility, strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new starters, leavers, job changes and personal detail updates within payroll systems
  • Check payroll data for accuracy, including information relating to new starters and leavers
  • Support TUPE mobilisations for new contracts
  • Handle telephone calls, emails and post for the Central Payroll Team
  • Respond to payroll queries received via the central inbox in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with compliance controls and internal and external audit requirements
  • Ensure GDPR compliance is maintained at all times
  • Support salaried payroll colleagues with day-to-day administrative activities

Person Specification

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High standard of professional customer service
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, with confidence handling data
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team
  • Awareness of GDPR requirements and Data Subject Access Requests
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
