Job Specification - Plumber
Location: Tyne and Wear
Type: Temporary (1 position)
Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri, 07:00-16:00)

Pay: £14.60 per hour
 
Purpose
To carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations across council buildings.
Key Duties
  • Repair and maintain plumbing systems (water, drainage, sanitary fittings)
  • Respond to reactive and planned maintenance jobs
  • Diagnose and fix faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety standards
  • Keep accurate job records and reports
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Experience in commercial or industrial plumbing
  • Good knowledge of health & safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
