💰 £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
📅 Start Date: ASAP (08 June 2026)
⏳ Contract: 6 months initially (potential extension to 12 months)
🕒 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, flexible core hours 9am-3pm)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy at their Blade Factory in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact environment, supporting data-driven decision-making through the development of robust reporting solutions.

This is an onsite role, ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced operational setting.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL, dataflows, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Build and maintain scalable and efficient data models
  • Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment across the business
  • Ensure all reporting is standardised, consistent, and aligned with data quality principles
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear visual insights
  • Support the development of reporting frameworks and best practices
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions


Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and data modelling)
  • Experience working with multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, dataflows, SharePoint)
  • Good understanding of ETL and data transformation processes
  • Ability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and visualisations
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience managing KPI frameworks or business scorecards


Interview Process

  • 45-minute face-to-face interview
  • Includes:
    • Review of experience
    • Competency-based questions
    • Power BI assessment
