Actio Recruitment are supporting a long‑established precision manufacturing business in Romford who are looking to add an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to their production team. This is a hands‑on role working with complex components to exacting aerospace‑level standards.

The Role

• Producing high‑accuracy sheet‑metal parts through bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly and deburring
• Working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and Inconel, maintaining tight tolerances throughout
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Setting and operating a range of equipment including fly press, brake press and linisher
• Checking jigs, fixtures and tooling
• Hand‑forming prototype panels and components from flat sheet
• Carrying out part of the finishing process deburring, drilling, trimming, filing and grinding as
• Conducting visual checks and dimensional inspection to ensure quality standards are met

What You’ll Need

• Strong background in sheet‑metal fabrication within a precision environment
• Confident working with a variety of metals and thin‑gauge material
• Able to follow drawings accurately and work with minimal supervision
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to producing high‑quality parts
