Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a skilled and supportive manufacturing team working on day shifts.

The Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to manufacture precision metal components in line with engineering drawings and production specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, accuracy, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production instructions
- Produce precision-bent metal components to tight tolerances
- Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Adjust tooling and machine settings to achieve correct bends and finished dimensions
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing deadlines
- Carry out routine machine checks and report maintenance issues when required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating and setting press brake machinery within an engineering or fabrication environment
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and tolerances
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Positive attitude and strong team-working skills
Desirable Experience
- FLT/Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience within precision engineering or metal fabrication
