Primary Teacher - Alternative Provision in Islington
- This is a primary SEN school in Islington, North London rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted.
- School caters to pupils aged 11- 16 years with moderate autism and learning difficulties.
- Students in KS3 are working at Primary levels of attainment so a Primary Teacher is required to meet the needs of these pupils.
- Pupils are taught in small groups of approxinartely 7 - 10 per class, with high levels of support.
- Students enjoy a personalised curriculum and complete BTEC and GCSE's.

You will implement whole class and group learning activities and continuously assess pupils progress their their specific learning goals. You will work in collaboration with a team of highly skilled and trained SEN Teaching Assistants to deliver outstanding learning opportunities.
Primary Teacher - Alternative Provision in Islington
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), after completing a PGCE, Graduate Teaching Program (GTP), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), QTLS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching students with needs, including ASD / Autism, Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD)
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
