Are you a Product Development Engineer or similar with a background knowledge of Solidworks and looking for a step-up in your career? On offer is the opportunity to join a leading medical equipment manufacturer and supplier, who have consistently grown year on year since their establishment. The company provide medical equipment for both domestic and commercial clients, these include hoists, slings and other crucial devices. Due to the nature of the business, taking care of their employees and nurturing their development is the key to their growth and long term business strategy.

This varied role, will see you responsible for the development and drawing of key products and components in both 2D and 3D using Solidworks, you will complete new design concepts, focus on continuous improvement of existing products and be developed in the project management aspect of the lifecycle, including bill of materials, costings and rebranding. You will attend ECR meetings, produce technical files, documentation and support on all product queries.

This role would suit a Product Development Engineer or similar that is looking for a new challenge, by stepping into a projects based design role with a leading healthcare company, who make a real difference to the community and give you opportunities to progress into senior positions.

The Role:

• Project Management of Existing and New Product Design
• Design using Solidworks and AutoCAD of Products and Components
• Continuous Improvement
• BOM's, Costings and Supplier Management
• Mon - Friday (Flexible Hours, 40 hr week)

The Person:

• Product Development Engineer or similar
• Solidworks background
• Looking for a new challenge by running Projects
• Commutable to Rotherham
