About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Administrator to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring documentation, systems, and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.

You will play a key role in supporting both the Production and Quality Assurance (QA) functions, helping to ensure information is recorded, tracked, and communicated effectively across multiple departments and sites.

Key Responsibilities

As Production Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Collating and managing Quality Assurance documentation
  • Maintaining and updating production status reports and information
  • Generating production work orders
  • Issuing material certificates to the QA team
  • Scanning, filing, and linking material certification documentation
  • Updating internal systems with delivery receipts and relevant records
  • Preparing and issuing material traceability reports
  • Providing administrative support across multiple sites
  • Preparing and issuing welding documentation for QA purposes
  • Managing filing, scanning, and document control processes
  • Supporting other departments with general administrative duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous administration experience within a production, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work methodically, accurately, and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments
  • Good numeracy and IT skills
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
