Production Operative (FLT)

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative for a temporary to permanent assignment based in Solihull. This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for weekend overtime. The role offers a structured shift pattern and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The shift pattern is as follows:

• Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm – 10:00pm
• Friday: 10:30am – 8:00pm

Main Duties:

• Operate machinery and plant equipment within a production environment
• Carry out general production operative duties as required
• Complete quality and statutory checks and report any defects
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and production records
• Safely operate forklift trucks and other mobile plant equipment
• Support overall site efficiency and production targets

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Valid FLT licence is essential
• Experience operating forklift trucks and/or mobile plant equipment
• Ability to carry out quality checks and follow procedures accurately
• Good attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork correctly
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a production setting
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
