Job title - Production Operative - Food Industry

Pay rate - £12.71 p/h

Working hours - Monday to Friday - 2pm-10pm

Job Description:

Working in a busy production environment including, filling, wrapping and packaging products while adhering to food safety and quality procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Packing baked goods accurately and efficiently
• Filling and decorating products to required standards
• Assisting with mixing ingredients when trained
• Lifting and handling raw materials and finished products (up to 10kg)
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
• Following food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures at all times

What is required from you:

• Previous experience in food production or a related industry preferred
• Familiarity with production processes, standards, and food safety regulations, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage practices
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands and arms
• Physically capable of frequent bending, stooping, and twisting
• Able to lift up to 10kg on a regular basis
