A well-established manufacturing business in North Shields is recruiting Two Production Operatives to support a new long-term customer project. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing operation with training provided and opportunities to develop multi-skilled experience within manufacturing.
Working on a day shift only basis, you’ll be part of a collaborative team manufacturing timber packaging products including pallets, crates and cases.

Your responsibilities as Production Operative
- Manufacturing timber products to specifications and drawings
- Measuring, cutting and assembling timber components
- Operating machinery and production tools safely
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure standards are met
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Working towards daily production targets and deadlines
What we’re looking for in a Production Operative
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Timber or woodwork experience would be advantageous
- The ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Confidence using hand tools or machinery
