Production Operative - Launceston

Do you have experience within a production or manufacturing environment? Do you consider yourself to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an asset to a busy team?Are you based in or around Launceston?

This role is ideal for someone with production or manufacturing experience and a safety-first approach, although training will be provided.

Role: Production Operative 
Location: DS Smith Packaging, Hurdon Road, Launceston, PL15 9HN
Job Type: Full Time, Contractual 
Pay: £16.41 per hour

Shifts:  week day nights Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am and Friday 4pm-9pm

Start: ASAP (subject to interview and onboarding checks)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment
Follow Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health and Safety legislation

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
   
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and SSOW
