Your responsibilities as Production Operative
  • Drive production lines to meet daily output and customer order requirements
  • Operate and monitor machinery across mixing, filling, packing, and wrapping stages
  • Check product quality throughout the production process and report any issues
  • Assemble, pack, sleeve, and prepare finished goods for dispatch
  • Maintain accurate daily records and support order processing
  • Ensure a clean, safe working environment and report faults or stoppages promptly
What we’re looking for in a Production Operative
  • Previous experience working within a production or food manufacturing environment
  • A full, UK driving licence (essential)
  • Understanding of machinery operation and production line processes
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control standards
  • Ability to work in chilled environments and follow structured processes
  • Strong attention to detail when checking products and recording data
Your core working hours will be Monday-Friday, around 40 hours per week, with the occasional Saturday. Working hours can vary due to the demands of the business and production targets.
