Production Operative / Recycling Operatives

4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern (Days & Nights Rotation)
Shift Times: 5:45am - 6:00pm / 5:45pm - 6:00am rotating shift pattern Pay Rate: £14.89 per hour

FLT /Forklift Counterbalance is required.

Our client, a UK leader in recycling end‑of‑life materials, is looking for Production Operatives with in date Counterbalance Licence to support safe, efficient and reliable production operations. The Role

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Production Operative to support our Recycling Operations team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are key.

You will support all areas of the recycling process, including:

  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Machine operation and support
  • Quality sampling
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Assisting the Production Team Leader with operational updates and process improvements


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production and recycling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all SOPs, site procedures, and health & safety guidelines
  • Carry out pre-start visual safety inspections on machinery and equipment
  • Monitor machinery performance to maintain optimal operating conditions
  • Support continuous improvement activities across the shift
  • Accurately identify, weigh, and record waste and regrind materials
  • Ensure correct disposal and segregation of waste streams
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area
  • Complete production documentation and bulk bag labelling accurately
  • Work flexibly across multiple production roles as required


Essential

  • Valid FLT / Forklift Counterbalance Licence
  • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work across multiple operational areas
