Production Planner Salisbury based | £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits - Are you a planner who enjoys bringing order to complexity?

We're looking for a Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing and technology business where you'll play a key role in coordinating production, materials and inventory to ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly by coordinating schedules, materials and inventory requirements across the business.

Working closely with production, engineering, quality and supply chain teams, you'll:

  • Build and manage production schedules and manufacturing orders

  • Ensure materials and components are available when needed

  • Maintain accurate BOMs and ERP system data

  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential risks before they impact production

  • Support demand and capacity planning activities

  • Drive improvements in planning processes, inventory control and operational efficiency

  • Play a key role in the ongoing development of planning systems and processes

What We're Looking For

We're interested in planners who can bring structure, organisation and commercial awareness to a busy manufacturing environment.

You'll have:

  • Experience in production, materials or supply planning

  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Bills of Materials

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across a business

Experience within aerospace, defence or other engineering-led industries would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates from broader manufacturing environments.
