You will be working closely with the Health & Safety and Quality Manager, supporting day-to-day quality assurance activity across the production lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the factory environment rather than office-based QA work.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting manufactured units on the production line for quality, accuracy, and finish
  • Carrying out functional checks and basic testing of products
  • Identifying defects, non-conformances, and raising issues for corrective action
  • Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation
  • Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities across the shop floor
  • Ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and safety standards
  • Escalating serious quality concerns to the Quality / H&S Manager
  • Supporting general manufacturing quality control processes as required
About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment and a strong eye for detail.

You will bring:
  • Previous experience in QC, inspection, production, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies
  • A practical, hands-on approach to work on the shop floor
  • Good communication skills when working with production teams
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
  • Understanding of quality standards within a manufacturing setting
  • A proactive attitude with confidence to raise issues when needed
Working Pattern
  • Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon / evening shift (12:00–20:00 or 13:00–21:00)
  • Full-time, permanent role
The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where quality is a key focus. You’ll be directly involved in ensuring product standards are met and will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and reducing defects within production.

Long-term development opportunities are available for the right person within quality or production management pathways.
