Ridgeway & Co are currently partnering with a number of Tier 1 and rapidly growing main contractors across London, seeking experienced Project Directors to lead the successful delivery of major, high-profile construction projects across a variety of sectors, including:
- Education (Schools & Colleges)
- Healthcare
- Laboratories & Life Sciences
- Commercial Offices
These opportunities offer highly competitive salaries of up to £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent prospects for career progression within well-established and expanding organisations.
This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing multiple projects or large-scale flagship developments, ensuring strategic delivery, operational excellence, and strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across one or multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Oversee Project Managers and wider delivery teams
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Drive commercial performance, including cost control and margin improvement
- Lead stakeholder engagement at senior level, including clients and consultants
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements
- Report directly to senior executives and contribute to business growth strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Project Director or Senior Project Manager role within the construction industry
- Strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
- Highly commercial with strong financial and contractual understanding
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications
