A leading main contractor specialising in the fit out and refurbishment of commercial office buildings across London and the South East. With over 25 years' experience, they deliver high‑quality workplace environments for occupiers, landlords and developers, with project values typically ranging from £500k to £10m+ through its Interiors division.

Renowned for its honest, proactive and professional approach, they have built longstanding client relationships across the financial, legal, corporate and commercial sectors and continues to secure repeat business on complex, design‑led schemes.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of commercial fit out projects up to £10m. The successful candidate will oversee projects from pre‑construction and contract award through to handover and final account, acting as the primary point of contact for the client and professional team.

This is a hands‑on delivery role suited to a Project Manager who is comfortable operating autonomously on high‑profile projects while aligning with their collaborative site and office teams.

• Deliver commercial fit out projects up to £10m from pre‑construction through to completion and handover
• Manage programme, logistics, quality, cost control and health & safety across all stages of the project lifecycle
• Coordinate and lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
• Act as the day‑to‑day client interface, building strong working relationships and representing the conmpany professionally
• Chair client meetings, site meetings and progress reviews
• Oversee design coordination, technical compliance and change control
• Ensure works comply with building regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Manage risk, procurement, sequencing and interfaces in live or occupied environments
• Drive quality through inspections, snagging and final commissioning
• Contribute to work‑winning activities including pre‑construction input, interviews and client presentations where required

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor fit out environment
• Strong track record delivering CAT A and CAT B commercial office projects
• Experience managing projects typically between £1m-£10m in value
• Background in commercial interiors, refurbishment or D&B fit out
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants and supply chain partners
• Strong knowledge of buildability, programme management, sequencing and risk mitigation
• Comfortable working in live or fast‑track environments
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

• Construction‑related degree, HNC/HND or trade background
• SMSTS / CSCS
• MCIOB or working towards chartership
