The Role

As a Public Liaison Officer, you will support in the planning and delivery of stakeholder relations activities for construction projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing stakeholder engagement plans, attending community meetings, producing communication materials such as notices and updates, and maintaining effective relationships with clients, project teams, and local communities. You will support the delivery of information campaigns, coordinate responses to enquiries and complaints, and ensure communication procedures are strictly followed. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for community initiatives, support sustainability initiatives, and contribute to reporting KPIs.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement or community relations within the construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of community outreach, public relation strategies, and project communication.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and responses efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
