Our client is rapidly growing.  Manufacturing essential and innovative products for an ever-increasing market. The role

-          Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software

-          Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores

-          Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance / inspections

-          Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management and by working with our external contractors

The ideal candidate will be

-          Highly numerate

-          Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required

-          Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues

-          Experienced using data management tools such as MRP.

-          Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand

-          Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience

-          Experience of working in an ISO9001 manufacturing or engineering business is desirable
