QS Project Manager – Bespoke Construction
Locatinton: Mid-Kent (with travel to sites across South East)
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 + package

The Opportunity
A long established bespoke bespoke construction company is seeking a QS Project Manager to oversee a range of small to medium scale projects across the south east. This role suits someone who has come up through a trade background—ideally carpentry or a similar hands on discipline—and progressed into Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a hybrid commercial/operational role.
The company delivers high quality, bespoke work, so this position is ideal for someone who enjoys detail, craftsmanship and working closely with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential construction projects from pre construction through to completion
- Cost planning, estimating and take offs
- Preparing tender documentation, Bills of Quantities and subcontractor enquiries
- Managing budgets, variations, CVRs and commercial reporting
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and quality
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards
- Overseeing final accounts and project close out
About You
- Background in a trade such as carpentry, joinery or similar
- Experience in residential construction, ideally with bespoke or specialist projects
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of build processes
- Confident managing budgets, subcontractors and client relationships
- Able to work independently and travel to sites when required
- Full UK driving licence
