Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will provide vital QA and QC support to ensure first-time quality delivery across the project. Your responsibilities will include developing project procedures, reviewing contractual documentation, conducting site inspections and audits, and supporting quality performance monitoring. You will work closely with suppliers and project teams to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, while proactively managing risks and non-conformances.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Extensive understanding and implementation of ISO 9001:2015
  • Proven experience in quality engineering within highly regulated sectors such as defence, nuclear, or aerospace
  • Demonstrable ability to lead audits, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes
  • Strong IT skills, proficient with MS Office and SharePoint
  • Effective report writing skills and experience managing supplier relationships
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of nuclear compliance legislation and professional memberships like CQI or IRCA. An industry-recognised auditor qualification and NDT certification would be advantageous.
