About the Opportunity

A leading UK organisation with a large national property portfolio is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding in‑house property team. This is a key commercial role supporting major refurbishments, new developments and ongoing capital projects across a diverse estate.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing accurate cost intelligence and commercial insight to support strategic decision‑making and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing accurate construction budgets for development and refurbishment projects
• Preparing monthly cost reports to monitor capital expenditure
• Managing final accounts and reporting to finance teams
• Analysing historic cost data to improve future budget accuracy
• Leading tendering and procurement processes, including large maintenance contracts
• Advising Project Managers on valuations, variations, contract issues and final accounts
• Supporting a national property portfolio with occasional UK travel

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Quantity Surveying within contractor or consultancy environments
• Strong understanding of the built environment and commercial construction
• Experience with JCT contracts, procurement, estimating and cost reporting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and financial capability
• RICS membership is advantageous but not essential
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc Hons) or equivalent
